BBQs on the Beach

I'd never been to Hayling Island before, so on a very hot sunny day last summer we grabbed some BBQ equipment and headed on down to the beach. Everywhere on the South coast is windy, so it was a little tricky lighting the fire!

The only downside about Hayling Island is that there is only one road in and out  - so on a sunny day when everyone heads to the beach, it's a nightmare to get off the island! After an hour and a bit of queueing, we eventually made it home. I'm hoping for more barbeques on the beach this summer!
