Chesil Beach & Portland Bill

On our last day in Weymouth, we checked out of the hotel and headed straight to Chesil Beach. We stopped off at the visitors centre for a spot of breakfast in their cafe - and it was surprisingly nice!

Chesil Beach is 18 miles long, and stretches as far as you can see, with lagoons on one side and the sea on the other. It's quite a steep walk down to the water from the top of the beach! It's worth a visit if you're in Weymouth.

Next stop was Portland Bill and the lighthouse!

We were feeling adventurous, so we climbed down the rocks and started exploring.

It was an amazing view from on the rocks - just miles and miles of ocean.

Also - check out this cool rock formation!

We had a great weekend away in Weymouth - and we're going back again this year for the seafood festival! (I'm very excited about that trip!)
